About Me

Originally from Brazil, Raquel is a dedicated postpartum doula who has been living in the Bay Area for six years. With nearly a decade of experience as a nanny, she has lovingly cared for toddlers, infants, and school-aged children. Known for her warm, empathetic, and trustworthy nature, she brings a deep sense of integrity and communication to every family she supports.

Back in Brazil, she earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting along with two MBAs in accounting and finance. However, upon moving to the United States, she felt drawn back to her true passion—working with newborns and supporting families during the early stages of parenthood.

As a postpartum doula and sleeping training consultant, she offers more than just practical help—she brings heartfelt care, respect for each child as an individual, and a calming presence to the homes she serves. She is fully vaccinated, a non-smoker, has her own reliable transportation, is pet-friendly, and proudly maintains a stigma-free approach.

What services do you offer?

I provide comprehensive postpartum doula services including newborn care, breastfeeding support, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and emotional support for new families during the crucial first weeks after birth.

How far distance can you commute to?

I serve families within a 60-mile radius of my home base. For families outside this area, I may be able to accommodate overnight stays or extended service packages. Please contact me to discuss your specific location and needs.

Do you work nights or days?

I offer both daytime and overnight support depending on your family’s needs. Day shifts typically run 8-12 hours, while overnight shifts are usually 10-12 hours. I can create a custom schedule that works best for your family’s routine.

Whats is your experience and training?

I am a certified postpartum doula with over 5 years of experience supporting new families. I have training in newborn care, breastfeeding support, and postpartum recovery. I also maintain current CPR and first aid certifications.
